Peer Learning Forum: Gender Networks

Time: to

London EC2V

This event is an opportunity for Gender Network Chairs/leads to come together in a confidential environment to discuss common issues and good practice, along with solutions.

There will be an emphasis on delegate discussion and the sharing of experiences. This interactive session aims to convene members across sectors who are eager to share their experiences and learn from one another.
The theme of this event is Intersectionality. An intersectional approach marks a move away from the perception and treatment of working women as a homogenous group, facing the same work/life problems. It better positions organisations to identify and tackle the unique challenges women from different backgrounds face in the workplace, so that businesses can respond more effectively to the barriers and unleash the potential of all women.
Employee resource groups and networks play an important part in supporting organisations towards creating inclusive workplaces, this event will an opportunity to explore how networks can influence the diversity and inclusion agenda.
Light refreshments on arrival and light lunch
This event is for Gender Equality campaign partners and Business in the Community members who are a Gender network chair or involved in a Gender network.
