Business in the Community gender equality campaign issues:
The gender campaign aims and issue areas are specific to supporting employers create equal and inclusive workplaces for women at all levels.  By focussing on these issues we are able to provide the most relevant and insightful support to Business in the Community members and inform our engagement with government, industry stakeholders and employers when campaigning for wider societal and organisational change.

  • Equal Lives
    The Equal Lives research project, in partnership with Santander UK. Equal Lives aims to benefit men, women and businesses. By enabling both men and women to take a more equal share in caring responsibilities, women’s progress in the workplace is supported, and enabling employers to keep talented employees in work and reduce the gender pay gap.

  • Gender Pay Gap Reporting
    Gender pay reporting legislation requires employers with 250 or more employees to publish figures every year showing how large the pay gap is between their male and female employees. Business in the Community is committed to supporting organisations to report, understand, communicate and tackle their pay gap.
